to the Iberian Peninsula Scottish Country Dance
Group website.
All over Spain and Portugal you
will find Scottish Country Dance groups, many
set up by past teachers and enthusiasts who retired
or moved to these countries to start a new life
for themselves. Growing contacts between these
groups culminated in the holding of an Iberian
Scottish Country Dance Weekend, which has now
become a regular annual event and arguably the
Scottish Country Dancing highlight of the year
in the Peninsula.
The purpose of this site is to provide
information on these local groups and their activities
as well as our Iberian
Peninsula Annual Dance Weekend.

Iberian Peninsular Scottish Country Dancing Weekend 2011
The Torrevieja Group are pleased to confirm we will be hosting the 17th Iberian Peninsular Scottish Country Dance Weekend on Friday 11th to Sunday 13th March 2011.
